The big show contingent made their presence known this past weekend at the 20th California Hot Rod Reunion with all three big show competitors qualifying for the record breaking 5 second field. These guys came out to have fun and to their credit both of the new cars of “Worsham Racing” and “Head Racing” both qualified along with the “Teachers Pet” of Densham.
Ron Capps in the “Worsham Racing” Plymouth Arrow qualified number 8 with a 5.840 @ 240.64. Unfortunately Capps didn’t survive his first round matchup with James Day in the “War Eagle” Pontiac Firebird.
Chad Head in the “Head Racing” Pontiac Firebird had a great outing with a brand new car by simply qualifying for this tough field. Head did lose his first round matchup with Dennis La Charite in the “Back In Black” Pontiac GTO.
Steve Densham in the “Teachers Pet” Chevrolet Camaro had the best outing of the big show contingent last weekend losing in the semi final round to Kris Krabill in the “Pedaler” Plymouth Arrow.
