The O’Brien and Austin team has been on a tear the last two races with Kris Krabill at the wheel. Coming off a win at Sacramento four weeks ago, coming into Mission was going to be tough with5 American teams and 5 Canadian teams fighting for the prize. Kris and the team qualified #2 with a 5.88 at 247 mph. First round saw the O’Brien and Austin entry against Brad Faria. During the run, Krabill had to pedal the car to a 6.16 at 235mph. In the second round, Krabill had a bye run and ran a 6.07 at 238mph shaking thru low gear. Unfortunately the rain found the racetrack and the race was cancelled during the semi final matchups.
